Freddie Mercury amigurumi is by far the most requested doll among the ones I made. These days I finished four of them! I'm glad that people like Freddie as much as I do and I'm even more glad that they want my Freddies to be the chosen ones as a gift for a loved one (as it seems to be the case of the latest three)
You have already seen in this blog the 'Wembley edition' in several occasions, in amigurumi and in felt. The medium size doll, about 12 cm tall was the one chosen both by Gonzalo y Lorena to their respective gifts. The novelty was the way in which I made the microphones, from now on, with jumping clay instead of beads and wire.
Another Gonzalo (what a coincidence!) from La Coruña, wanted this other Freddie, a smaller version of it, so his wife could use it as a brooch. They are both fans of Freddie and he knew she was going to love it. So I tryed to make him smaller and the result was a 7 cm tall Freddie.

Gonzalo wrote me back telling me that her wife loved the Freddie. Thank you. That made me very happy!
And, being a huge Freddie fan myself, I thought....when will I have my own amigurumi Freddie? And since I was a little tired of so many Wembley Freddies in such a short time space, I made myself a travestite Freddie-the one from the I Want to Break Free video. I love that song and video, and wanted my Freddie vacuuming with a wig on? This is the resulting amigurumi:

Thanks again to all of you who trust in my work to be a gift for your loved ones.
Which Freddie do you like more? Dp you want to see some other Freddies in different styles?
