More scissor cases

Posted by Laura (Moñacos, Cosicas y Meriendacenas) at 1:32 PM 0 comments
I've made two more pocketed scissor cases. The  blue one is for me, the other one is for my friend (and fellow crafter) Susana. Both are made out of felt (for consistency) and fabric.

Mine was made with a sewing themed fabric that I bought in Creativa (a crafters fair that took place in my city). I thought it was appropriate :D

Susana chose the colors she wanted the case to be, and she loved it. The best part.... in return she's rewarding me with one of her famously delicious Spanish Omelettes. Ñam ñam!

Amigurumi course in the notions store "El Siglo"

Today I realized that  I started my amigurumanía almost a year ago. It all started with a workshop given Silvia by in a local notions store called  El Siglo in my city, Zaragoza (Spain). My first experience with a crochet hook, if you remember, was awful in terms of productivity, but it was really really fun otherwise. I had so much fun with the teacher and people there that this year I booked for a whole year course.

I want to show you some of our creations:

The big family

Below you can see Silvia's Amineko and dolls we made from old gloves in class (the one in the right is my doll, Margarita)

And here you have some of the Chinese Horoscope amigurumis made by Silvia in the handmade crochet living room furniture made by Pilar

Pilar's Snoopy and fancy frogs with my mini-Maléfica

Perry with the corpse bride made by Sonia and her Hello Kitty in the back :

Coco  (Groover) after partying hard with dragons:

Finally,  Long Cat and Clementino... we think they're in love.

Leia... I am your mother

Posted by Laura (Moñacos, Cosicas y Meriendacenas) at 9:19 AM 1 comments
You have no idea of how many silly things occurred to me to begin this post. Things i "A long time ago, in a galaxy far far  away, two amigurumi, made with different yarns... " And so on. So I'm going to just show  you these two amigurumis of Leia and Amidala. I made them a long time ago but I hadn't post them yet.

Amidala  has a terrible skin color... but you know, she has to come back from the after life to give Leia the breaking news (Well that, and that I had no skin color yarn back then)

Leia was a gift for my aunt in law, Blanca, a big fan of  Star Wars.  She loved the doll and now Leia is in a special place in her (wonderful ) living room

The  Amidala pattern was taken from Defective Geeks (you can find it in here). I have no written Leia pattern, but it is just a modification of the Amidala pattern.

What do you think?

Year of the Dragon

Since 2012 is the Year of the Dragon I made my own amigurumi dragon to bring me luck. However, my brother loved his sweet face and wanted him for himself... and I couldn't say no.

Here you can see him with Malefice... She always loved dragons, you know.

I hope you like him!

Perry the platypus / Agent P

Posted by Laura (Moñacos, Cosicas y Meriendacenas) at 8:21 AM 0 comments
I'm one of these rare humans that do not watch TV.  I watch series and stuff, but either online or downloaded into my computer.  Phineas and Ferb is the onlye exception and stay and watch every time O catch it on TV.  I 'm sucha a fan of this show. It's is a funny, smart and sometimes very random show, which makes one of this programms that pleases both children and adults. I've never met such a lovable villain as Doofenshmirtz. True fan.

Here I present you my own Perry the platypus:

Perry the Platypus is the cute family pet who lives a double life as Agent P, the" semi aquatic, egg -laying mammal of action" working as a undercovered secret intelligence agent.

You can remove his hat so he can go undercover again. If you have seen the series, you'll understand ;)

You can find the pattern  in the blog "My Crocheted World"  (click here),  although I modified the hat to make it a little bigger.

I hope you like it!
